I'm a graphic designer from the border of Los Angeles County and Orange County, California. I've been surrounded by design my entire life, as my family has a 5th generation machine shop. I spent many summers there with my father either being put to work or sitting on his lap watching him create various objects and parts for customers in CAD. This really laid the ground work for me as a designer as it made the process of conceptualizing, creating, and physically producing projects one of my biggest passions and I owe it all to those summers at the shop. Although not the same field, many skill sets from working at the family business transfer into graphic design and one such example is my eye for the details of things as I dealt with mere thousandths of an inch for most of my life.
When I'm not designing I spend the majority of my time with my daughter and family, kicked back at the lake, or realizing i'm way to out of shape to play soccer anymore. I've also become a bit of a gear head over the years and spend quite a bit of time trying to keep my 30 year old BMW on the road. When my daughter goes to bed and its too dark outside to wrench, I spend my time gaming with friends.
